One of the few things Lauren and I planned on our relaxing getaway to Mallorca was a visit to Bodegas Ribas winery. Since we’re both fans of red wine, with me being a fan specifically of Spanish red wine, we knew we had to make it happen while in the country. Bodegas Ribas is the oldest winery in Mallorca and the second oldest winery in Spain, so clearly they know what they’re doing if they’ve been able to stick around for over 300 years! The winery was over 30 minutes away from our hotel in a town without taxis, so keep that in mind if you plan to visit!
The grounds of the winery were absolutely stunning. Seriously, it was a blogger’s dream – with beautiful white stone walls, pink flowers, and the cutest old-world European decor imaginable. I totally felt like I was in Spain as soon as I stepped inside, which is not something I could say for the rest of Mallorca. After a quick tour of the winery and a lesson on the wine-making process, it was finally time to taste the wines. We got to try one white wine and two reds. My favorite was the last red wine we tried, which was the Sió Negre 2016.
For our winery visit, I wore my new cute little . I always want to wear something breezy and loose-fitting for wine tasting and this one did the trick since it was too hot for a maxi. I absolutely love the way this dress fits. As a petite woman, it can be hard to find clothing that fits both in the waist and length, but this one is perfect! It’s actually a faux wrap dress and looks cute both with and without the belt added. Usually after I wear something and post it on the blog, I’m kind of done with it. I can already tell that won’t be the case with this dress. It’s just too adorable! Fingers crossed it stays warm late this year!
