Winter Curls

Every time the season changes, I make a point to reevaluate my beauty routines. I change my moisturizer, I use a different facial cleanser, and I most definitely switch up my shampoo, conditioner, and styling products. Cold weather dries everything out–our skin, our nails, our hair–so that’s usually where my focus goes. When my thick, curly hair gets dry, I get split ends, breakage, and too much frizz. This year, I decided to treat that with some argan oil. More specifically, with Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek collection.

I’ve had it for about a week now and tried it twice. I have to say, my first impression was great – I totally love this stuff! The first time I used it, I blow dried my hair and then this most recent time I let it air dry. When they were naming this collection, they totally hit the nail on the head. My hair has never felt so smooth and so sleek in my life. If you have curly hair or know someone who does, then you probably know what I’m talking about. I felt like I just got home from the salon – and I am totally overdue for a haircut, so that is saying a lot!

I really cannot recommend the 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner enough. I feel like it makes such a huge difference in the smoothness and vibrancy of my hair. I’ve used smoothing products in the past, but I usually stick to them when I’m going to style my hair. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the argan oil in Pantene Pro-VSmooth & Sleek collection works great for my natural curls as well.

Another thing I wanted to mention is the scent. This stuff makes my hair smell so good – even after blow drying and using hot styling tools! I can’t help but smell my hair every now and then. That’s totally not weird, right?
