winter reading list, books to read this winter, books to read winter 2016, the secret sister by Diane Chamberlain, Better than Before by Gretchen Rubin, Anne of Green Gables read by Rachel McAdams, scrappy little nobody by anna kendrick, big little lies by liane mortiary

Over the summer, I shared a summer reading list full of beach reads and little escapes. I’ve recently realized that although summer reading lists are popular, I love getting cozy with a book in the winter as well. Maybe even more. So I’ve come up with my official winter reading list, including me current read. I’d love to know your thoughts and recommendation!

I’m currently reading this book by Liane Moriarty. I saw a preview for new HBO show with the same name and it rang a bell. I took a look at my audible account and saw it sitting in my wishlist. I knew I had to get it. (Anyone else have to read the book before the movie or show comes out?) I recently finished Truly Madly Guilty, a best seller by the same author, so I knew I’d like Bog Little Lies. I’m about 3/4 done and it’s so good so far. Can’t wait for the show!

This collection of autobiographical essays by Anna Kendrick is the perfect option for a quick, light read. I love reading books by actors/comedians. You really get to see a different side of a person and it feels like you’re getting let in on a secret or something. I’ve always found Anna Kendrick super relatable and the reviews are awesome. This one will probably be next after I finish Big Little Lies!

Would you hate me if I said I’ve never read this classic? Audible is doing a reboot (no, I don’t only listen to audiobooks. Gotta switch it up though!) and Rachel McAdams is narrating. Based on the book description, I think I’d love it. And Rachel McAdams would make a great narrator. Can’t wait to listen to this one!

This motivational nonfiction by Gretchen Rubin will provide just the boost I’ll need during the cold, winter months. I love a good self-improvement book and this one has been sitting on my shelf for a few months now. I’ll definitely have time to dive into this book about creating better habits to build a happier life over the next few months!

This is another book that has been patiently waiting on my bookshelf for a while. I love anything to do with sisters since I’m so close to my own so this mystery/thriller is right up my alley. After reading and , I love a good thriller, so this one should be perfect.

What’s on your winter reading list?
