Ever since purchasing my first home, I’ve been more excited than ever to decorate for each season. My first Christmas here was absolutely magical, but I’m surprisingly just as thrilled to decorate for spring. Perhaps because for the first time in my life, I have ample outdoor space for true outdoor living. This includes my adorable little front porch area.

To tell you the truth, I’ve been neglecting my cute little stoop for months now. I let it sit empty and the space was completely wasted. But now that temps are rising and I’m spending more time outside, I’ve decided to change that. So I went straight to my and started shopping. I put together a bright and cheery, yet understated and chic front porch spring decor scheme. I have to say, I’m pretty obsessed with how it turned out. In fact, Ryan and I have already found ourselves hanging out on our front porch, enjoying the weather and chatting with neighbors as they walk by on the street.

First things first, I knew I wanted a and . I wanted this area to be a spot where I can hang out, relax, grab a bite to eat, or even work. I picked this simple with the most amazingly stylish . I feel like I’m in Paris every time I sit here! I also added this , reminiscent of the shining sun.

To really bring the spring vibes, I added a few faux greenery items. Since I don’t want the commitment of constantly caring for a real plant, faux is ideal for me. And what says spring/summer better than a ?! This tree is one of my favorite purchases ever. I can’t tell you how many people have asked me if it’s real. It just screams happiness to me! And I couldn’t have dreamt of a better planter for it than this gorgeous .

The final touches were the and the for the table. Every time I come out here, I’m filled with life and joy. Isn’t it funny how even faux plants can have that effect? I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. I never would have guessed I’d be redecorating my home seasonally, but now I can’t imagine it any other way!
