To say I fell completely in love with in Puerto Rico would be the understatement of the year. The hotel located in the gated community of Ocean Park is pure boho heaven. Seriously. Free People needs to shoot a lookbook here asap. I am beyond obsessed. Every little detail is heavenly and I would 100% live there if I could!

I first found out about The Dreamcatcher Puerto Rico from my friend Erica who visits Puerto Rico a lot. After looking at the photos, I knew I had to visit. Sadly, they were all booked up except for the last night of my visit. Since I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to stay, I figured I’d at least try to grab a meal there since they’re a vegetarian hotel. I emailed them and they hooked it up for breakfast! Yall. It was definitely one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had in my life and I literally live for cheese. To have a meal that good without cheese was mind-blowing to me. I got the vegan nachos, but I did add eggs, obviously making it no longer vegan. Oh well!

In addition to the restaurant at the hotel, they also offer a communal kitchen, where guests are invited to cook their own meals (no meat allowed, but seafood is ok!). There are plenty of spices and cookware – it’s awesome! The communal feel promotes community, which I love, but you also have plenty of privacy in your own luxurious suite. The hotel itself is very small, with only 9 rooms and 3 suites, giving it a very intimate feel throughout. They offer yoga on the beach, sightseeing tours, bicycle rentals, and more. They have everything you could possibly need!

We loved the hotel so much and kept thinking about it the whole rest of the trip. I wanted to go back so bad, even just to hang out. By our last day, the last room was still available. I knew it was meant to be and emailed the manager again. Sure enough, it was still available and he invited us to stay for our last night. I was over the moon! We were exhausted from our trip and had a super early flight, so after getting settled, we took a quick stroll on the beach and then grabbed some dinner. After we ate, we stopped by a bakery and got some deserts and wine, and spent our last night in Puerto Rico drinking wine on the terrace looking up at the stars. I could not imagine a better relaxing night in.

Visiting The Dreamcatcher for breakfast on the first morning of our trip and then staying there our last night was the perfect start and end to the trip. If only it didn’t have to end! All I know is next time I go to Puerto Rico, I will definitely be staying at The Dreamcatcher again!

Where is a memorable hotel you’ve stayed at?
