web design, blog design, blog designer, blog facelift, redesign, blog layout

As you might know, I began designing blogs this year. It has been so much fun and turned into a full business before I knew it. I never imagined I’d be designing a different blog every week! Collaborating with bloggers to create the perfect design has been so much fun and I’m excited to continue designing in 2015. Here’s a lookย at a few of my favorite blog designs I created this year:

1. Fashionably Lo
Fashionably Lo is by far the most mentioned inspiration from my clients. Her layout is simple and direct, resulting in a clean and user-friendly experience for readers. The static photos under the most recent post are a great way to direct readers to favorite topics.

2. R E L U X E D
This one has to be my favorite layout. I’m big on letting photos be the star and this layout definitely reflects that. I love how everything is so centered. Another favorite feature is the black & white focus. Most people like having a color on their blog. I’m not one of those people.

3. Tiffany Style Blog
I loved working with Tiffany on this design. Her inspiration for basically everything in life is Vogue, which is so much fun for design. I love the search bar in the menu, as well as the fade transition for the featured posts. I don’t know why more people don’t request these elements!

4. Chic Flavours
As far as full post layouts, this is one of my favorites. I particularly love the asymmetrical features of the sidebar titles & comment/date listing at the bottom of each post. Creating a design with the menu bar at the very top was also fun – love the back color as well!

Looking back, 2014 was a great year for design. I can’t wait to see what my clients and I come up with in 2015! Need a blog facelift? Check out my packages!

What have you created this year that you’re proud of?
